Registration Instructions

Check for Holds
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Prepare for Registration
  3. Review any holds

All holds must be resolved in order to register for classes. Offices such as Student Finanacial Services, the Law Library, etc. are NOT able to remove holds after 4 p.m. and the Registrar's Office cannot remove a hold established by another office.

Find your Registration Times
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Prepare for Registration
  3. Review your time ticket(s)
Add a Class: By Course Regisratation Number (CRN)
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. Click the CRN tab
  5. Enter the CRN
  6. Click Submit to attempt registration
Add a Class: By Search
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. Enter your search criteria and click Search
  5. Click Add for the class you want to add
  6. Click Submit to attempt registration
Add Class(es): From a Plan
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. Click the Plans tab
  5. Click Add all
  6. Click Submit to attempt registration
Waitlist: Join a Waitlist

If the course and section for which you are attempting to register is full, you will receive an "warning" message stating that it is closed and indicating the number of students already on the waitlist.

If you want to join the waitlist, follow these instructions:

  1. In the Summary panel, select Wait Listed from the Action drop down menu
  2. Click Submit

Be sure to View Registration Information to confirm the class has the Status of Wait Listed

Waitlist: Check Position on a Waitlist
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. In the Schedule panel, click Schedule Details
  5. Look for Waitlist Position.
Waitlist: Add a Waitlisted Class When Notified About an Open Seat
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. In the Summary panel, select Web Registered from the Action drop down menu
  5. Click Submit to attempt registration.

Be sure to View Registration Information to confirm the schedule changes have been made.

Drop a Class
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. In the Summary panel, select Drop via WEB from the Action drop down menu
  5. Click Submit.
Drop and Add Simultaneously
  1. Go to the Registration Portal
  2. Click Register for Classes
  3. Select the current term and click Continue.
  4. In the Summary panel, select Drop via WEB from the Action drop down menubut do NOT click Submit yet.
  5. Add the class you want to register for from search, by CRN, or from a plan
  6. Click Submit. The dropped course will be removed and the added course will appear on your schedule.

Be sure to View Registration Information to confirm the schedule changes have been made.
